Arrival in Johannesburg – Transfer to Mabula Game Lodge | On arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg), you will be met by your driver and assisted to your vehicle and transfer to Mabula Game Lodge. Enjoy an extraordinary encounter with South Africa’s Bushveld at Mabula Game Lodge, located just two hours’ drive from Johannesburg in Limpopo’s malaria free Waterberg region.
Revel in the sheer variety of animal, bird and plant life and the diverse landscapes ranging from grassland plains to rocky outcrops creating an ideal habitat for the free roaming Big Five. Distinctly African in style, Mabula Game Lodge offers comfortable thatch roof suites with luxury finishing’s. Johannesburg – Cape Town | Fly into Cape Town International Airport. On arrival, you will be met by the transfer company representative and transferred to your hotel. En-route, wind your way to meet the charming university town of Stellenbosch, with its Cape Dutch architecture in the wonderful heart of the Cape Wine lands, surrounded by stunning wine estates.
Stroll through this little town, absorbing the quaintness, and sneaking into the odd shop or two (on Sundays not all galleries and shops are open). A superb day dedicated to celebrating the glorious grape, the exceptional Wine lands region, and the heavenly scenery. The area’s rich with history, and you can’t help but feel it as you move through the region to experience a wine cellar tour and tasting where you will learn all about the process of winemaking, from grape to goblet.

Full Day Tour of Oudtshoorn | After breakfast, you begin your day with a spectacular drive over the Outenique Mountain Pass into the feather capital of the world, Oudtshoorn, where you’ll get up close and personal with ostriches on a Karoo ostrich farm. You’ll have the opportunity to go right into the Cango Caves with its magnificent dripstone formations of stalactites and stalagmites.
You’ll visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch to marvel at crocodiles, snakes and numerous big and beautiful cats of the wild variety. As we said, a day of wild contrasts in Oudtshoorn, but likely to produce a feather in your cap! At the end of the day, transfer to your dining venue for your scrumptious dinner.

Knysna to Albertinia for Game experience | After breakfast check out and proceed to Garden Route Game Lodge, the Big Five are waiting for you. Enjoy a scenic drive to the game reserve travelling via the Garden Route to Albertinia. Arrive in time for Lunch (for own account) before setting off on your adrenaline pumping afternoon game drive.
Transferred into the ideal 4 x 4 safari vehicle and accompanied by an experienced game ranger, you’re off, camera’s and binoculars at the ready, searching for tell-tale signs of lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, cheetah, zebra, rhino, ostrich, baboon, warthog, springbok and many other wild animals, birds and fauna. You’ll spend two to three hours scanning the reserve, relishing the sightings.
Return to the lodge for some R&R and time to relax around the pool in summer, or settle cosily around a fire in winter before digging in to your scrumptious dinner at the lodge. Overnight at the lodge.

Allbertinia to Cape Town | Embark on your early morning game drive to continue your search for the Big Five and enjoy a hearty breakfast thereafter. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cape Town via the Garden Route soaking up the differing scenery as you go along.
Stop en-route for lunch (for own account), continue your drive to Cape Town. Upon arrival, check in and then transfer to the V&A Waterfront for some great bargains and entertainment. This is Cape Town’s, in fact, South Africa’s biggest tourist attraction.
The V&A Waterfront, a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, crafts markets, theatres, action bars and lots more is situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain in the heart of Cape Town’s busy harbour, and set with a magnificent backdrop of the sea and mountains. Thereafter, transfer to the restaurant for your dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Cape Town City Tour | After breakfast proceed for half day Cape Town city tour including tickets up to the Table Mountain (weather permitting). Take a cable car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain with views of the City and surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa. Drive by the country’s oldest building, The Castle, and a short distance away, the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating and well conserved.
Your drive continues past Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge, and you’ll sense the depth of history via their distinctive architecture. Move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colours of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and then later, transfer to the restaurant for your dining experience. Overnight at the hotel.

Full Day Cape Peninsular Tour | After breakfast, embark on your full day peninsular tour. Cruise along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise – from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno – towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay. Embark on an up-close-and personal Seal Island cruise.
Wind along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive (if open), hugging the cliffs and relishing the breath-taking ocean views, before arriving at your lunch spot of choice (for own account) at the Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. At the Cape Point, you ride the funicular up to the lighthouse for great photo opportunities.
Thereafter, we meander back along the coast towards the City, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. Head back to your hotel, freshen up and transfer to your restaurant. Tonight’s farewell dinner is a very special occasion as it marks the end of your South African adventure.
